Using a Spanish translator is helpful if you travel to Central or South America, or Spain. Spanish is one of the most commonly spoken languages in the world; however, there are still many people that travel to Spanish-speaking countries and do not speak Spanish.

There are also handheld electronic Spanish translators. These are small devices that will translate, conjugate, pronounce and teach you commonly used phrases. A Spanish translator device is very helpful when traveling to Spanish speaking countries.
